In reality, they are inseparable and interconnected, with a continuous interchange of matter and energy, both chemical and microbiological, in a constant and very sensitive balance. The water cycle, for example, shows the indivisibility of the two matrices. In the last decade, the materials produced by the bioeconomy industry, through the processes of extraction / refining from biomass, including residues, and used in agriculture have represented one of the main problems with a series of cause / effect impacting on the soil and water matrices.
