TitleUse of biosolids in Europe: possibilities and constraints
AbstractThis paper describes the current status of the sewage sludge legislation in many European Member States. Specific critical factors derive from the reluctance of the European Commission to promote a new Sewage Sludge Directive. The legislation framework in the European countries is therefore very fragmented with a total absence of harmonization.
