Arsenic removal kinetic was not so fast compared to Granular Ferrous Oxides GFH, common As commercial removal adsorption media, amorphous and Fe>70% , but As removal reached in some case 30 50% removal. The prevalence of goethite, identified among the several FeOOH minerals by XRD spectra, seems to enhance As adsorption capacity. Further studies are needed to elucidate As and P adsorption driving process in order to give more hints on the characteristics of waste material to select by support of remote sensing images and ground based mineralogical and spectroscopic evidences.
