TitleInterpretazione delle curve di restituzione di prove in situ per lo studio della dispersione in un sistema fessurato
AbstractThe interpretation of the classical transport phenomena theory in homogeneous porous media requires the knowledge of velocity field and dispersivity. Due to its influence for the description of pollutants spreading in aquifers the values of dispersivity and its dependence from some physical characteristic is a lack of knowledge up to day. The value of this parameter is generally got through the interpretation of tracer breakthrough curves. Observations, field measurements and interpretations made by different Authors have singled out the influence of the value from the distance between injection and observation wells. The aim of this paper is the probing of some theoretical aspect connected with dispersivity for fractured and fissured solid matrix. Therefore an experimental station, made up of five wells, has been carried out in a limestone aquifer which have been performed. This injection has been done along the whole thickness of the well to study the possibility to find preferential flow paths. Samplings have been carried out for few months and breakthrough curves have been done using a theory suggested by some Authors for fractured system.
