About me:
Dottorato in Ingegneria Chimica e dei Processi presso l’Università La Sapienza di Roma. Dal 2011 sono all'Istituto di Ricerca Sulle Acque dove ho svolto e svolgo attività di ricerca sulle seguenti tematiche: (i) tecnologie innovative per la depurazione di acque reflue (domestiche e industriali) con eventuale recupero di energia e/o risorse; (ii) processi di stabilizzazione di fanghi di depurazione mediante digestione sequenziale anaerobica-aerobica; (iii) biorisanamento ex situ di suoli contaminati; (iv) inquinamento da microplastiche
PhD in Chemical and Process Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome. Since 2011 I am been working at the Italian Water Research Institute on the following fields: innovative technologies for treating municipal and industrial wastewater combined with energy and resource recovery; (ii) sequential anaerobic-aerobic digestion applied to sewage sludge stabilization; (iii) ex situ bioremediation of contaminated soils; (iv) uptake/release of organic contaminants by microplastics
