Dal 22 al 25 giugno 2026 si \u00e8 svolto a Melfi il XXX Congresso dell\u2019Associazione Italiana di Oceanologia e Limnologia<\/strong> (AIOL APS ETS) dal titolo \u201cAcqua: la risorsa che ci connette\u201d.<\/p>\n

Il bellissimo castello federiciano della citt\u00e0 di Melfi ha ospitato una parte dei lavori del congresso, alla cui organizzazione hanno contribuito l\u2019Universit\u00e0 degli Studi della Basilicata e di Salerno, l\u2019Istituto di Ricerca sulle Acque del Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche e la Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn.<\/p>\n

Il congresso come di consueto \u00e8 stato caratterizzato da un\u2019elevata interdisciplinariet\u00e0, affrontando numerosi temi connessi allo studio, alla gestione e alla comunicazione dello stato delle risorse naturali, analizzando processi sociali, ecologici ed economici associati all\u2019acqua, anche ricercando legami con la storia dei luoghi che hanno ospitato i lavori.<\/p>\n

La prima giornata ha visto infatti una relazione di apertura, a cura di Aldo Marchetto del CNR IRSA, ed una sessione speciale \u201cIntegrative limnology in Monticchio Lakes\u201d dedicata a questi laghi vulcanici di grande interesse e valore nelle ricerche limnologiche.<\/p>\n

Il CNR IRSA ha partecipato attivamente al congresso con presentazioni orali e poster, tra cui i contributi a cura di due giovani ricercatrici, confermando il proprio impegno nello studio degli ecosistemi acquatici.<\/p>\n
