Ricerca sulle Acque di Montelibretti, in stretta collaborazione con Acea Infrastructure, \u00e8 stato recentemente sviluppato un nuovo brevetto per invenzione dal titolo \u201cPROCESSO DI PRODUZIONE DI ACIDI GRASSI A CATENA MEDIA MEDIANTE IL TRATTAMENTO DI RIFIUTI ORGANICI\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019invenzione riguarda la produzione sostenibile di acidi carbossilici a media catena con elevato valore di mercato attraverso la fermentazione di rifiuti organici urbani, principalmente fanghi di depurazione e scarti di cucine e mense, esclusivamente per via biologica, senza l\u2019impiego di prodotti chimici.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La molecola target del processo, l\u2019acido caproico, tradizionalmente ottenuta da materie prime di origine fossile, \u00e8 ampiamente utilizzato nell\u2019industria alimentare e chimica come agente antibatterico, additivo, additivo, lubrificante, e come precursore di biocarburanti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tramite questa tecnologia i rifiuti organici della citt\u00e0 creano nuovi composti di valore abbattendo drasticamente i costi della gestione e dello smaltimento dei rifiuti, e riducendone
