{"id":6787,"date":"2024-02-29T09:51:57","date_gmt":"2024-02-29T08:51:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.irsa.cnr.it\/wp\/?p=6787"},"modified":"2024-03-06T17:53:53","modified_gmt":"2024-03-06T16:53:53","slug":"paper-open-access-su-journal-of-hydrology-regional-studies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.irsa.cnr.it\/wp\/?p=6787","title":{"rendered":"Recente pubblicazione IRSA su Journal of Hydrology: Regional Studies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Setting an environmental flow regime under climate change in a data-limited Mediterranean basin with temporary river<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il lavoro recentemente pubblicato su Journal of Hydrology: Regional Studies mira a sviluppare una metodologia per impostare un regime di flusso ambientale (E-Flows) per un fiume temporaneo (Locone, sud-est Italia) con disponibilit\u00e0 di dati limitata e includendo le alterazioni indotte dai futuri cambiamenti climatici (CC). I corsi d&#8217;acqua del Mediterraneo sono comunemente non perenni e sono vulnerabili ai CC. Poich\u00e9 le serie temporali osservate a lungo termine del deflusso in condizioni naturali non erano disponibili, \u00e8 stato applicato il modello Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT+) per simulare il deflusso giornaliero per il baseline (1980-2010) e per il futuro (2020-2050). \u00c8 stato sviluppato un workflow specifico per la calibrazione del modello con l\u2019obiettivo di migliorare la simulazione delle portate di magra. Il regime idrologico \u00e8 stato caratterizzato mediante Indicators of Hydrological Alteration (IHA), mentre per definire gli E-Flows \u00e8 stato applicato il Range of Variability Approach (RVA). I risultati mostrano che il bacino sta registrando un aumento statisticamente significativo delle temperature dell\u2019aria osservato dal 1971 al 2020, che si prevede continuer\u00e0 anche in futuro. Di conseguenza, si prevede che la portata media annua e la portata mensile in inverno e primavera diminuiranno. La calibrazione, basata su una valutazione del modello multi-obiettivo, ha migliorato la simulazione delle portate di magra.
