Durante la conferenza DehaloCon III sono stati affrontati e discussi argomenti di ricerca che riguardano i processi biologici anaerobici per la dealogenazione di inquinanti tossici diffusi in diverse matrici ambientali. Le tematiche affrontate hanno riguardato un ampio spettro di argomenti inclusi gli aspetti biochimici, ecofisiologici e \u2013omici, mostrando come le conoscenze sulla dealogenazione riduttiva siano progredite in modo significativo negli ultimi anni. La comprensione della biochimica, fisiologia ed ecologia dei batteri che respirano organoalogenuri rimane ancora una tematica di ricerca aperta da sviluppare per consentire l\u2019implementazione di tecnologie di biorisanamento per la bonifica dei siti contaminati.<\/p>\n<p>Le ricerche presentate nella conferenza DehaloCon III e pubblicate nel <em>Thematic Issue<\/em> di <a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/femsec\/pages\/anaerobic-biological-dehalogenation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FEMS Microbial Ecology <\/a>\u00a0si focalizzano in particolare sugli aspetti delle reazioni enzimatiche, la biodiversit\u00e0 microbica e l\u2019ecologia, fino agli aspetti pi\u00f9 applicativi nell\u2019ambito del biorisanamento dei siti contaminati.
