the definition of methods and models for assessing the effects of anthropogenic pressures on the environment;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>biodiversity and functionality of <strong><a href=\"\/wp\/?page_id=837&amp;lang=en\">aquatic ecosystems<\/a><\/strong> through the analysis of ecological and biochemical interactions between biotic and abiotic components;<\/li>\n<li>technologies for<strong><a href=\"\/wp\/?page_id=845&amp;lang=en\"> water purification<\/a><\/strong>, also for the reuse of civil and industrial wastewater, sludge management and enhancement;<\/li>\n<li>advanced processes for the <strong><a href=\"\/wp\/?page_id=848&amp;lang=en\">recovery<\/a><\/strong> of resources and energy from the treatment of wastewater, sludge, waste, biomass in the name of the
